    Description

    Company Background:

    TekRek has partnered with an exciting AI firm that is looking to bring on a number of contract Senior Backend or Full Stack Engineers to complete a 3-6 monthproject contract beginning in early May.

    Job Description:

    As the Engineer you will be tasked with:

    • Improving technical dept, enhancing release cycle, build internal configuration tools, and ensuring code is tested properly
    • Hands on development of the web-based product (React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python)
    • Maintaining high code quality in reviewing and maintaining the web application
    • A strong understanding of DevOps best practices.

    Job Requirements:

    This job has some required and preferred skill sets to achieve the best results in the role.

    Required:

    • 4+ years experience in progressive software engineering roles
    • Strong experience using React, JavaScript, TypeScript
    • Experience with Python would be an asset but not necessary
    • Strong experience in React development with functional components like REST API
