As a Photo Operations Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing digital assets for our global portfolio and ensuring photographs are ready for online visual merchandising.
AT SONDER YOU WILL:
- Manage timelines and due dates for photography projects from start to finish to ensure the project stays on schedule.
- Work with partners, including Market Operations and Openings to gather building information prior to photoshoots. Ensure proper photoshoot units are on hold.
- Determine correct photography budget tier that aligns with the project scope.
- Source pool of global talent of photographers and stylists when needed. Align with Photo Operations Manager & Senior Creative Producer on talent quality.
- Curate photographs on all online travel agencies to ensure high quality visual merchandising. Complete quality checks to ensure that listings are properly merchandised.
- Work with city teams to ensure Sonder photos meet standards and support visual merchandising goals. Request reshoots as needed.
- Protect Photo Team brand standards by upholding the quality and quantity of Sonder photography. Ensure SLAs and turnaround times are met from external partners, and delegate tasks to Project Administrator when needed.
- Manage and oversee photo acquisition for early listed properties. Work with the Project Administrator to ensure photos are high quality by organizing and sending images to be retouched.
- Socialize and train new markets on Photo Team workflows and requirements.
- Manage organizational file system on Drive to ensure all documents are regularly organized and updated.
- Assist Project Administrator with city requests and/or questions.
- Complete Styling reviews when necessary.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
- Bachelor's degree in photography, communications, marketing, or related experience
- Minimum 2 years of postgrad professional experience in related field
- Proficient in Photoshop and Lightroom
- Foundational knowledge of photography equipment and technical standards
- You're super organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- You're a team player with exceptional communication skills
- You're able to work in a fastpaced, startup environment that challenges the status quo
- You're someone who takes initiative and isn't afraid to lead
