  • Intelcom is looking for a Business Analyst, Last mile Operations, to support the Operations team with new and ongoing projects and system improvements.
This role will report to the Director of Operational & Technology Platforms.

To succeed in this multi-disciplinary role, the applicant must have strong business analysis competencies as well as basic project management skills.

The Business Analyst specializing in Last Mile Operations must develop a deep comprehension of Intelcom's last mile technologies. Their proficiency in identifying and implementing enhancements, modifications, and innovative solutions is crucial for excelling in this role. This skill set ensures they can effectively adapt and evolve these tools, guaranteeing their success and driving operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leveraging industry standards in logistics, identify and analyze gaps in Intelcom's current 'asis' process.
- and define precise requirements for enhancing and optimizing our final mile operations.

  • Create business requirement documents (BRD) and business cases for OPS projects.
  • Complete a project RACI matrix to identify project roles involved in each project.
  • Participate in the creation of and validation of the Project Charter
  • Ensure stakeholder requirements are defined, modeled (using modeling notation) and validated.
  • Participate in the solution design with IT and Product Management
  • Validate and obtain sign off on the solution design with SMEs from Operations
  • Exercise their authority to sign off on solution design (as the main OPS representative)
  • Exercise their ability to influence different stakeholders.
  • Identify, prioritise, mitigate, and communicate impending project risk.
  • Complete Project task definition (for tasks required of the Operations teams) and create a Project plan for managing these tasks.
  • Support in the completion of project implementation tasks (ex. Identify supplies needed for the solution, oversee distribution of hardware required for the project
  • Participate in endtoend UAT sessions as an OPS SME
  • Validate new processes by testing them prior to deployment.
  • Participate in the identification of KPIs and other metrics to measure the success of the project.
  • Participate in defining the transition and help with sustaining the change.
  • Trainthetrainer to ensure project succession.
  • Help create SOPs and training content and participate in initial trainings.
  • Define the rollout plan for operations projects. This includes selecting stations, communicating change, planning deployment at station, managing nontech requirements.
  • Offer first line of support for rollout support and obtain feedback and define (and coordinate) pilot next steps.

Qualifications:

  • Certification in Business Analysis, Project Management, or equivalent work experience
  • Master's degree from an accredited university in supply chain management and logistics or related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Strong leadership, influencing and negotiation skills and ability to make decisions independently.
  • Strong and independent project planning capabilities
  • Fast learner in complex environments with high dependencies
  • Has worked as a specialist, business analyst or product manager in an operations role within the logistics or supply chain department.
  • Motivated to learn and has excellent problemsolving skills.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and can make decisions despite them.
  • Strong ability to set priorities.
  • Natural analytical mindset and strong in system thinking.
  • Solid knowledge of the business analysis toolbox
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills in both English and French
  • Above average verbal and written skills and ability to convey information logically and coherently.
