    Position Status:Temporary Full-Time (6- month contract)

    Description of the Position:

    The Coordinator, Stewardship and Donor Relations will play an integral role in delivering an exceptional experience for our donors. The Coordinator will provide the highest level of administrative and donor support to the Stewardship and Donor Relations team. They will coordinate the activities of the portfolio, primarily assisting with cultivation, stewardship, and recognition and will help maintain a database of information to facilitate donor listings and communications. This position reports to the Associate Director, Stewardship, and Donor Relations.

    You will:

    ·Coordinate activities for the Stewardship and Donor Relations team, including administrative support;

    ·Assist with progress reports, correspondence, donor events, and volunteer at events within the Stewardship and Donor Relations portfolio;

    ·Assist the team in managing the donor database, including pulling data and managing the review and approval process with internal stakeholders;

    ·Directly liaise with appropriate Foundation and Hospital staff to support Foundation-wide donor recognition initiatives, including donor giving programs and naming opportunities;

    ·Provide professional "first contact" with donors, hospital, and others seeking information regarding stewardship and recognition at SickKids;

    ·Work with the Stewardship Team to proactively identify and plan of key dates for donor recognition and stewardship communications,

    ·Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all internal stakeholders including fundraisers, Communications, Finance, and Business Intelligence and Information Technology teams;

    ·Commit to ongoing professional development through reading current literature, attending professional meetings, participating in professional associations, and developing working relationships with professionals at other institutions;

    ·Be an effective team player and adhere to the Foundation values and policies.

    Required Skills

    You will:

    Qualifications:

    While we know that for any job posting no one candidate will possess the qualifications being sought in equal measure, below is an outline of the qualifications we believe are important for a candidate to bring to the position or for the successful candidate to develop while in the role:

    ·Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience;

    ·1-3 years experience in administrative coordination and implementing multi-faceted projects, preference to those in development/ fundraising environment;

    ·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal);

    ·Exceptional organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects within tightly prescribed timelines;

    ·Detail-oriented mindset, and are proactive in anticipating and responding to client group needs and managing multiple and changing priorities;

    ·High energy and level of enthusiasm, ability to work independently;

    ·Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and a willingness to learn new computer software programs as required;

    ·Willingness to learn CRM software and reporting

    ·Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;

    ·Ability to work in a changing environment with tight deadlines;

    Total Compensation Package:

    Hiring Salary Range: $48,623.40– $57,201.60 ; with the ability to progress to a maximum of $68, To ensure fair and equitable pay at SickKids Foundation, placement on the salary

    range will be based on your years of experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the Coordinator, Stewardship and Donor Relations.
