Mac-Weld Machining Ltd. is seeking a
Production Manager to join our team.

Duties and responsibilities

Oversee a medium size manufacturing facility
Manage and implement standard operating procedures for production operations.
Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to.
Develop project budget and maintain expenses within the budget.
Recommend process improvements to enhance production quality and capacity.
Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution and management.
Determine equipment, material and manpower requirements to ensure productivity and mínimal downtime.
Monitor production activities and adjust schedules for ontime delivery.
Investigate production issues and develop resolutions.
Ensure that final product meets quality standards and customer specifications.
Ensure implementation and adherence to company policies and health and safety standards.
Monitor and review the performance of staff andorganize necessary discussion for improvement.
Assist in employee recruitment, performance evaluation, promotion, retention and termination activities.

Qualifications

5+ years' experience in a supervisor/manger position.
5+ years' experience in manufacturing
Knowledge of process improvement techniques
Knowledge of business, finance and management principles
Excellent numeracy, writing and oral communication skills
Strong organizational, leadership and conflict management skills
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
Working knowledge of OHSA and ESA regulations

Signing Bonus:

New employees will receive a signing bonus of $500 after successfully completing their three month probationary period, and $1000 after one year of continuous employment.

The employee must be on active payroll for the entire timeframe to qualify
