Where does the _Lead Project Manager _
fit in?
The Lead Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the EV project operations, budget, reporting, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement. Ensuring resources have clear objectives and the ability to coordinate with different departments and service groups as required.

You will take the on a lead role to coordinate all issues and prioritize resources from development phase / testing and validation to pre-production and assembly.


What you can expect as our next _Lead Project Manager_**:

  • Lead the development and build, overseeing all aspects of the electric vehicle program including planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing resources needed to achieve project goals
  • Maintain timelines, objectives, activities as related to all aspects of the EV development project with assigned resource/team member
  • Organized thought process and tracking of project plan/scope and achievement on those objectives based on set timeline
  • Create and manage EV performance specifications documents and vehicle objective documents
  • Identify and manager FEMA approach and APQP principles on activities as required
  • Map out Advantages/Disadvantages Road map for various vehicle performance objectives. Identifying & managing risks and opportunities
  • Maintain and create new relationships with investors/government, suppliers, developers, technology providers, and all internal and external stakeholder as required
  • Lead collaboration within the team, as well as other internal departments as required
  • Lead and manage weekly team meetings to ensure deliverables
  • Create and monitor an open issues list for all items under development or those that require review
  • Providing consistent leadership to the program execution staff to ensure effective and efficient execution.
  • Manage employees and/or contractors their tasks and oversee deliverables and performance of the team
  • Provide guidance, direction and decision making on all aspects of the project
  • Identify and manage resolution of potential deviations from the EV project design & development plan/scope
  • Oversee the growth of the program through such activities as the development of innovative program design solutions.
  • Developing high quality competitive proposals that facilitate achieving business segment objectives.
  • Work with purchasing to manage component/inventory needs and plan out lead times in accordance to project timeline
  • Represent the Company at industry conferences and meetings with external stakeholders related to the development of the EV project
  • Development and leadership of a program to drive sales for the electric vehicle (EV) program including design and implementation of sales strategy to support development of successful electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) projects.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Are you our next _Lead Project Manager_
?

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or related field
years of project management experience.

  • 35 years of people management experience
  • Electric Vehicle development and/or systems design experience
  • A recognized certification in project management (PMP, ACP, PSM, etc.) would be an asset.
  • Good knowledge of business, operational and corporate processes.
  • Experience working in matrix environments.
  • Ability to lead and influence
  • Effective communication skills: Expressing ideas clearly, active listener and using appropriate means of communication
  • Innovative, seeking to improve ways of doing things and the quality of services provided.
  • Ability to promote teamwork: Working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to set goals and solve problems.
  • Decisionmaking skills: Assessing the levels of importance, urgency and risk of a situation that falls within your area of expertise and making the appropriate decisions.
  • Organizational skills: Setting priorities for your team of collaborators, developing resource plans, conducting project followups, and ensuring activity documentation.
  • Planning skills: Defining your sector's activities, establishing action plans, collaborating with others to implement them, and evaluating results and work processes.
  • Ability to manage staff: Mobilizing resources under your responsibility, communicating clear expectations and providing the necessary support to achieve individual and organizational goals.
