Riverhead Brewing Company is seeking to hire a line cook. The position will be in the kitchen and assisting with other kitchen staff.This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to get into the food service industry and learn from an experienced cook.
We are looking for a team player who takes pride in their work and wants to see their contributions reflected in our final product.
Duties include:
- Follow recipes and food safety guidelines
- Prepare food that complies with food safety standards
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Comply with all sanitation standards
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain excellent working knowledge of equipment and appliances
- Follow all departmental procedures and guidelines
- Assist with special projects as assigned by the kitchen manager/owner
Experience:
- Experience in a high volume restaurant preferred
- Experience in prep cooking for multiple people required
Job Type:
Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary:
$16.00-$17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kingston, ON K7P 0L5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
Shift availability:
- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
