Contract Role

Contract length: - 12 months with a target start date of Mar 1, 2024.


Work Location:

Hybrid. This role will be completed both in-office and remotely. This role will be based out of the THFC Home Office located in St. George, Ontario. This position will require a combination of in-office work and travel to locations within the community for program implementation. Travel is expected 20% of the time.


What would you be doing?

  • Support the development and delivery of the community program in partnership with schools and/or community groups.
  • Deliver incommunity programming as per established curriculum and alignment with the Tims Camps youth engagement framework.
  • Assess the program ongoing and make necessary program modifications for program improvement.
  • Track and report on metrics associated with success criteria for the pilot.
  • Meet all tracking and reporting requirements associated with the Timpact 365 impact measurement.
  • Operationalize established contingency plans as required to ensure the ontime delivery of pilot program.
  • Support the planning of program expansion efforts including:
  • Recruitment initiatives and staff retention plans to ensure key roles are filled to support the in-community program.
  • Deliver assigned training sessions to those delivering incommunity programming.
  • Establishing relationships, liaison and coordination with new schools and/or community groups to be involved in the program expansion to ensure success and collective impact.
  • Establish collaborative, crossfunctional relationships with all departments within the Foundation.

Does this sound like you?

  • University degree and/or college background in Education, Outdoor Experiential Education or related field/similar experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in providing leadership and/or oversight to youth programming focused on participants from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • 3+ years' experience in delivery of high quality positive youth development programs to youth aged
  • Strong judgement, critical thinking, and decisionmaking skills, and the ability to solve complex problems in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated experience in people management, coaching, and development
  • Superior written and oral communication skills with strong time management, project management, and organizational skills across multiple priorities and projects
  • Experience effectively managing change
  • Bilingual in French and English considered an asset
  • Acceptable Criminal Record Search
  • Ability to travel internationally
