Position Summary


This position reporting to the Team Leader is responsible for handling of the documentation preparation, monitoring and coordinating of customs release of shipments for the import of commercial goods into Canada in accordance with the Customs Act.

Provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors and service providers in acquiring the proper import documentation in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Nurture client relationships to ensure repeat business
  • Processing of incoming shipments
  • Accurately prepare customs and internal documents with mínimal guidance
  • Capability to handle the more complex customs entries with mínimal guidance
  • Completion of high volume of entries and handle queries in a prompt, efficient
  • Ability to resolve issues that arise with Customs clearance (reject notices, eManifest errors, paper packages, RMD Corrections) with mínimal guidance
  • Knowledge of the PGA's and ability to research requirements
  • Ability to accurately complete final Invoicing of customs entries to CBSA within the allotted timeframe
  • Reviewing accuracy of entries completed by other Team members as required and reporting of any issues to Team Leader or Supervisor
  • Liaise with other LOB's as needed
  • 2+ years of industry experience:
  • FTA basics
  • Basic knowledge of customs and related paperwork
  • Secondary school diploma
  • Demonstrated knowledge in

Microsoft Office:
Outlook, Excel and Word

  • Ability to quickly and efficiently perform internet parts search
  • Professional communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Accurate and fast keyboarding skills
