Job Description:


As an Account Payable Technician, you will report directly to the AP Supervisor and will be part of the Account Payables team.

This team is part of AIM's Finance Shared Services. Your main role will be to process invoice and issue payment to vendors.

  • Accurately and timely sort invoices and vendor statements
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders and process transactions
  • Address discrepancies in the matching of invoices
  • Enter invoices and other financial data in the systems
  • Process vendor payments and ensure vendor payment schedules are followed

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar position
  • DEC or DEP in accounting
  • Ability to quickly learn systems. Experience in D365 (an asset)
  • Ability to manage a large volume of invoices and payments
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different situations and be proactive when facing challenges
  • Good organizational skills, to work simultaneously with several sites, vendors and stakeholders
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bilingualism (French/English)
