    Description

    The Opportunity:

    As a Project Manager – Strategic Operations at Hitachi Energy, you will oversee the design, improvement, expansion, and construction of equipment, systems, and capital projects across one or multiple factories. Your expertise in project management will be instrumental in ensuring projects are completed within approved schedules and budgets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Define project schedules and financial plans, managing projects within approved timelines and budgets.

    Oversee capital projects, product moves, technology transfers, and product introductions.

    Supervise project execution and performance, including reporting and reviews with HUB management.

    Build relationships among all parties involved in the project, serving as an escalation point for issues.

    Ensure all projects comply with Health, Safety & Environmental policies and Integrated Transformer Management Systems processes.

    Lead and coach project teams to meet objectives, ensuring team members have the necessary skills and training.

    Your Background:

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations, Project Management, and/or Continuous Improvement.

    Project Management degree or certification is an important asset. Experience managing resources not under direct reporting lines.

    Proven experience with capital and construction projects, including budgeting and planning.

    Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
