- Clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Assist with food preparation and plating when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Follow proper sanitation procedures and food handling guidelines
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Skills:
- Help with various tasks in the kitchen as directed by the chef
- Clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Familiarity with restaurant or hospitality industry practices and procedures
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen safety protocols
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling guidelines
- Willingness to assist cooks or other kitchen staff as needed during busy periods
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient workflow in the dishwashing area
