The Opportunity:

We are currently looking for a
Contract Management Analyst to join our Procurement & Real Estate team in a temporary 2-year position.


As a member of the Supply Chain team, the Contract Management Analyst will support strategic sourcing initiatives by providing critical analytical support to the Procurement and Strategic Sourcing Managers.

The Contract Management Analyst provides analysis, advice, interpretation, and resource support for the Supply Chain team.

Key elements of this role include:


  • Contractor Performance Analysis: With implemented contracts, this role will work with the business and Procurement Lead to create monitoring and measurement methods. This role will be responsible to design, manage and communicate field observations. Where deficiencies exist, develop, and implement appropriate improvement initiatives.

Market Analysis: The Contract Management Analyst will support our Procurement Leads to in developing contractor performance measurements to enable negotiation of major contracts and reducing overall financial risk. This position will lead analysis to compare market pricing to what is being negotiated by our suppliers.

Management of Contract Expiry: Expired Contracts puts NSPI at risk from a safety, financial, and legal perspective. This position will be responsible to identify and assign work to our Procurement Leads to ensure contract continuity.

Contract Rebate Acquisition. This position will be responsible to ensure NSPI obtains all contracted rebates. We currently have rebates and pricing structures built into contracts; however, our procurement leads do not have the capacity to manage these, putting NSPI at risk of losing these special pricing opportunities already negotiated into contracts.

Corporate Credit Card Administration Support and Analysis: Primarily responsible for the relationship with our existing corporate card provider BMO. Leads monthly spend reporting and analysis, supports corporate card additions, cancellations and maintaining cards active during storm response. Responsible for weekly scheduling of credit card administration duties which is shared among other analyst roles.

  • Support Supply Chain teams with market analysis.
  • Identify and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Other duties including logistics storm support as required.

  • Have strong analytical skills, is a critical thinker, and demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Must have the ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team.
  • This role requires motivation, selfmanagement, creativity and excellence in providing analytical solutions in a business environment.
