In May 2021, The Boston Beer Company announced that it has established a subsidiary, BBCCC, Inc., to serve as a dedicated research and innovation hub in Canada focused on non-alcoholic cannabis beverages.

Boston Beer, the maker of recognized beverage alcohol brands such as Samuel Adams, Truly Hard Seltzer, Angry Orchard, Twisted Tea, and Dogfish Head hopes to continue its industry-leading track record of innovation in this emerging space.

We are currently hiring for a
Brand Execution Manager (Cannabis) in Toronto, ON.
- *A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams' weekly schedule. _


The Brand Execution Manager is integral in the successful launch and roll out of new products from BBCCC, the cannabis subsidiary of The Boston Beer Company.

The role will be on point to deliver and execute all trade marketing activity for our brands, as well sales support and product education with a focus on budtender engagement to help promote the cannabis beverage category overall.


What You'll Brew:


Trade Marketing:

  • Creating, producing, shipping and tracking all trade tools and local brand marketing activations
  • Develop strategies to generate interest in these products, creating demand at retail organizations
  • Reporting of all marketing promotions with metrics such as reach, impact, costs, market usage et
  • Executing BBCCC sales strategy across all five commercial channels (key account, independent, online, medical, onpremise)

Customer Engagement:

  • Create and maintain positive client relationships with customers to communicate upcoming brand programs, liaising with external and internal teams to ensure maximum reach and awareness
  • Guarantee organized and impactful launches in focus markets by supporting the sellingin of detailed market plans and driving results with inperson market visits
  • Create and drive implementation of impactful retail programs including but not limited to channel relevant POS, crossmerchandising and sampling promotions
  • Working with budtenders to promote our brands and educate them on the product attributes and RTB's

Sales Support:

  • Assist in the development and implantation of strategic sales plans to drive sustainable, longterm growth for the brand through focused inmarket execution
  • Conduct frequent market visits to engage consumers and support the sales teams and distribution partner to get an understanding of what is driving success or opportunity in that given market
  • Support calls on our top retail chains, help secure distribution programs and sellin programming support that will lead to successful sell through and future expansion
  • Prepare market summaries and competitive intelligence reports to share with BBBCC head office leadership

Project Management:

  • Managing the full process for approved marketing programs from ideation to execution, including creative briefing (internal or external), design, purchase orders and distribution lists
  • Managing all timelines to ensure stakeholders clearly understand and adhere to strict timelines
  • Ensuring all projects are delivered on time and budget by clearly communicating objectives, timelines and needs at the beginning and managing against those throughout the project
  • Continually seek to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, best field practices to ensure every BBCCC dollar spent is maximized

What Ingredients You'll Bring:


_Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Marketing/Sales experience
  • Must be willing to travel minimum of 25%

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Sales and marketing experience ideally in beverage and/or cannabis industry
  • Strong communication, presentation, and cross functional collaboration skills
  • High level of organizational ability with proven project management experience
  • Presence: Able to stand up to two organizations with confidence and command regarding the brand projects status, rationale, and state of being
  • Self-Starter: You are comfortable taking action without significant direction but also confident enough to be able to engage leadership at key points to gain alignment and assistance where needed
