Bayshore is looking for a Client Service Assistant to join our amazing team. This important customer service role is responsible for answering service inquiries and scheduling field employees to client care assignments.


The Client Service Assistant, under the direction of the immediate Supervisor, handles client and employee care and service inquiries, documents caller's information, confirms client care service changes, assists with client intake data entry and reception switchboard coverage as required.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle and document prospective client inquiries regarding requests for care and service.
  • Notify clients regarding initial and ongoing schedules.
  • Complete data entry as required.
  • Provides vacation and break relief on reception switchboard.
  • Participate in client satisfaction initiatives.
  • Handle and document client concerns and complaints in a timely manner and as appropriate, notify the Client Service Coordinator and/or Supervisors; maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities.
  • Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.
  • Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System.
  • Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify the Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns.
  • Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel.

HOURS OF WORK:

Hybrid role working out of our Mississauga office, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Job Qualification


Education
Minimum - Secondary School Diploma along with completion of a related coursed such as Medical Terminology is preferred.


Experience
A minimum of two years related customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.


Other Skills and Abilities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required. Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated competency in keyboarding and
Windows scheduling software.

Ability to operate all standard office equipment; proficiency in written and spoken English as well as French in Branch Offices that provide service to French speaking clients.
