Force's services include in-plant and mobile inspection, repair, machining, and manufacturing.


About the Position


This role is an
Entry Level Position and requires the knowledge of using tools and will be responsible to clean and repair equipment as necessary.

Reporting to the Inspection Manager, the Labourer will support the direct initiatives of the Operators in ensuring all material is properly inspected, repaired, faults are detected, and materials are rectified and marked.


Your Duties

  • Assists Inspectors/Operators with all physical inspections, process, and defect detection
  • Knowledge of and ability to use various hand and power tools
  • Clean or repair equipment
  • General housekeeping to ensure safe and clean work area
  • Complies with Force Inspection's Health & Safety program and Occupational Health & Safety
  • Perform other duties as required, including effective cleanup and the accurate and timely completion of paperwork

Job Requirements

  • Commitment to working safely, within standard policies and procedures
  • 6 months minimum manual labor work experience in an industrial setting is required
  • Previous experience with material handling, movement, and tool experience
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, working outside in plus (+) and minus () temperatures.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 35 lbs., bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License (nonGDL). Must be able to travel
  • Ability to meet preemployment testing requirements (i.e., drug and alcohol, physical fitness, audiogram, and vision testing)
  • Good work ethic and attitude
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Functional Reading and writing skills
  • Possess mechanical aptitude, with an eye for detail and a willingness to learn
  • Punctual, reliable, and willing to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team setting
