    Manager, Relationship Management

    To be responsible for the management of a team of relationship managers and administrators in addition to a personal involvement with a portfolio of client relationships. Ensure the effective control and delegation of work processes; oversee the training of junior staff whilst building both internal and external relationships and seeking to enhance business revenues.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Management, delegation and control of the teams routine processing including:

  • Cash Management
  • Exercise of Discretionary Powers
  • Following internal policies and procedures
  • Providing an exceptional level of client service
  • Ages debtors for the team are monitored and followed-up for payment
  • Invoices for the team are raised and paid in a timely fashion
  • Setting SMART objectives
  • Providing on the job training
  • Maintain awareness of the regulatory environment
  • Contribute to a satisfactory (or better) audit rating for BTGL
  • Delegation of tasks and follow-up completion
  • Maintenance of records, statutory or otherwise
  • Provide management information to senior management team
  • Seek opportunities to develop relationships and cross sell
  • Act as primary relationship manager for a number of clients and intermediaries
  • Your qualifications and skills include:

  • A relevant professional qualification e.g. STEP, ICSA or ACCA
  • Strong Knowledge and experience of offshore trust and company administration
  • Excellent personal organisation and time management skills. Communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • A proven track record of client service excellence and business development
  • Demonstrate experience of successfully managing a team and meeting billing/cash collection targets and deadlines
  • Good knowledge of Guernseys regulatory environment
  • Willingness to travel at short notice
