You have previous experience as a project manager in the technology industry.

You bring technical expertise that enables you to foresee and manage challenges that arise at all stages of a software development project's lifecycle.

You have strong interpersonal skills and are adept at communicating with cross-functional teams. You are a strategic thinker who has strong prioritization skills and a desire to be a life-long learner.

You are confident in your approach to understand problems from all sides and bring a solution-oriented attitude to your work.

Your Role
The Project Manager is critical to ensuring that software development projects meet client expectations in a timely manner.

You will be well-versed in all ongoing projects at Optimus and serve as a touch-point between development teams and clients to provide insights into projects.

• Client success is a top priority, you will ensure the successful delivery of projects on time
• Be the main point of contact for all projects, meaning you are knowledgeable about their status, scheduled timelines, budget and scope, and client expectations
• Communicate with development team to assess problems and generate solutions
• Communicate with clients and internally to discuss timeline and/or development issues
• Liaise with the development team in India

Your Background

• 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager
• Advanced understanding of the lifecycle of software development projects
• Experience in the technology field
• Basic understanding of the cloud (techsavvy)
• Strong delegation and communication skills
• Enjoys identifying issues, proposing solutions, and raising awareness
• Adaptable and able to figure things out onthego
• Ability to work within ambiguity
• Selfled and enjoys taking initiative
• Possesses high intellectual capital and is passionate about learning
• Keen eye for detail

Bonus

• Project Management certification(s), such as PMP or PMI
• Software development background
