We are looking for a Snow Removal Operator to join our team If you're an energetic and ambitious individual who has great snow removal skills, is flexible and will focus on quality of snow removal this role could be for you
As a key member of the Landscaping and Snow Removal team, you will be a hands-on individual and will be responsible for all aspects of snow removal of our parking lot.
Under the direct supervision of the Landscape and Snow Removal Lead, this role is responsible for clearing snow from the parking lot in an efficient manner, promoting job worksite safety, providing excellent customer service, and exhibits pride and quality workmanship.
This role is weather dependent and would require flexibility to accommodate the needs of the business. This could include early mornings, daytime or evening hours. Hours would also include holidays.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform snow removal duties with focus on quality and timely execution.
- Operate snowplow and vehicle equipment in a safe, responsible and efficient manner following all recommended operating procedures.
- Respond promptly to calls for snow and ice events.
- Conduct preshift inspections and maintenance on all vehicles and equipment.
- Excellent recordkeeping of work completed, equipment inspections, service logs and weather reporting.
- Pile snow in designated and approved locations only.
- Control ice accumulations in parking lots with the safe and responsible use of deicing agents (salt, treated salt, liquids or other deicing chemicals)
- Accurately document site service records for each and every site including times, services performed, weather conditions etc.
- Document and report any obstacles at site.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, while ensuring current landscape and property is not damaged in the efforts of removing snow.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 6 months of previous snow removal experience
- Heavy equipment operation experience would be an asset
- Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record and current auto insurance coverage
- Ability to follow safe working procedures
- Excellent observation skills and a strong attention to detail
- Effective communications skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
- Highly motivated, selfdriven, flexible and detailed oriented.
- Great time management skills
- Punctual and dependable with a cando attitude
- Possess professional maturity and impeccable integrity
- You have a commitment to Osler Bluff Ski Club's values and vision
- Must be able to work alone without direct supervision
- Must be able to work in all types of weather e.g., cold, ice, snow, rain, wind

Salary:
$21.00-$28.00 per hour
