As the Personal Training Manager, you know how to direct your team with their clients and their clients' fitness goals.

With a deep understanding of formal training in the fitness industry you act as a resource to your supports. You are motivated to engage with others and share your energy and enthusiasm for fitness and health. You also have a knack for managing club goals, such as promotions, memberships, and sales objectives.


These energetic, self-starters cultivate positive client relations with personal training members while leading the personal training department in the onboarding and servicing of all new members and guests.

They diligently track fitness package sales and focus on client relations and retention.

As a Personal Training Manager, a typical day might include the following:

  • A mountain of fitness package sales data to be entered, reviewed and analyzed
  • Managing a customer service complaint who's wishing to cancel their fitness package
  • Collaborating with the accounting department regarding an out of the norm refund situation
  • Reviewing and cross referencing individual and team fitness package sales goals against current position adjust plan of attack accordingly
  • Crafting new fitness package initiatives and review with the General Manager
  • Overseeing point of sale data is entered accurately
  • Leading Fitness Consultant team meeting, ensuring the team is well informed of new fitness package initiatives
  • Reviewing and adjusting a fitness plan for a new trainer
  • Researching new fitness equipment and make suggestion to General Manager
  • Conducting a team member performance review

To land this role you need to have;

  • A university degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years related sales experience with an established track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
  • Direct to consumer sales or fitness sales experience strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of leadership and personnel management experience including proven success in coaching and motivating teams to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • All management/leadership team members are required to have Standard First Aid and CPR
  • Level C Certification prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment. CPR is to be renewed annually.
  • All team members must provide a recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work.

Compensation:


  • Base Salary $95,000 $100,000
