- Be accountable for deliverables and customer satisfaction.
- Develop, test, analyze, maintain and enhance our in-house ERP system, FMS (Financial Management System) to meet the functional needs of the business.
- Integrate our in-house Project Management System, Gate Three as well as other external systems with our FMS system.
- Present ideas for development and improvement of software.
- Provide input to determine the scope and duration of software development projects.
- Maintain documentation for users, clients, and team members.
- 8+ years proven work experience in software development.
- Experience using IBM i, RPGLE, CLLE, SQL, XML, Json, SOAP and REST APIs
- Experience using IBM Rational Developer for IBM i.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, databases, and object-relational mapping (ORM) framework.
- Experience analyzing problems and finding solutions.
- Experience using Java, Python, JavaScript and CA 2E (formerly Synon 2E) is an asset.
- Knowledge of Information Builders iWay Enterprise Service Bus is an asset.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related fields, or equivalent work experience
