Summary of employment

As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for completing various daily, weekly and monthly financial reports for your team.

You will also be responsible for the monitoring and analyzing various financial data.

Main Reponsibilities
Ø Prepare the daily analysis of cash flow requirements between the different entities and prepare bank reconciliations;
Ø Ensure the analysis and proper accounting of assets and prepare monthly reports;
Ø Ensure the analysis and proper accounting of leases according to ASC 842;
Ø Analyze accruals and prepaid expenses and prepare recurring entries, making sure to obtain the correct coding;
Ø Perform intercompany billing and ensure reconciliation of balance sheet accounts;
Ø Assist the Financial Controller in the month-end process by making adjusting entries;
Ø Prepare financial reports and performance indicators on a weekly and monthly basis for submission to management;
Ø Prepare monthly Canadian and American sales tax returns;
Ø Assist in the preparation of the annual external audit file and participate in the preparation of the annual financial statements

Ø Assist in the preparation of year-end tax returns for Canadian and American entities.

Ø Participate in the improvement of existing processes;
Ø Produce any other analysis and/or report according to the company's specific needs;

Profile
Ø DESS in accounting CPA profile (an asset)

Ø Experience in accounting firm (an asset);
Ø Excellent knowledge of Excel;
Ø 1-3 years of relevant experience;
Ø Ability to communicate and work within a team environment;
Ø Ability to work and respect tight deadlines;
Ø Sense of initiative;
Ø Demonstrate rigor in the execution of his work;
Ø Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; bilingual
