Compensation Specialist

OBJECTIVE:


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assists with all aspects of executing compensation programs, including annual increases, bonuses, and variable pay programs.
  • Provides support to internal clients by offering analytical oversight and ongoing administration of compensation plans.
  • Design innovative solutions to specific situations and serve as an inhouse expert in dealing with compensation matters.
  • Manage and maintain all the requirements necessary for Market Pricing, Evaluation, and Pay Equity.
  • Participates in compensation surveys and carry out comparative market benchmark reviews, analyzing market rates for similar jobs in comparable labor markets to ensure our internal equity and maintain desired market competitiveness.
  • Thoroughly documenting compensation procedures to simplify processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting job evaluations using a method to determine the appropriate job grade levels. Overseeing the process for both new and existing positions, and conducting job audits when necessary. Maintaining job codes and job descriptions.
  • Providing HR partners and leaders with reliable, wellthoughtout, and datadriven advice about compensation. Assisting in creating compensation recommendations for internal promotions and new hires.
  • Completing miscellaneous projects such as data research and analysis, compiling meaningful documentation and presentation material, and offering sound conclusions and recommendations.
  • Participates in the training, communication, and implementation of compensation programs and processes, as well as assist in the development, preparation, and distribution of compensation communication materials.
**PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR including three years in compensation and benefits.

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
  • CHRL/CHRP is considered as an advantage; CP designation or working towards preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
