Location of Work:
North Bay, ON

TITLE OF POSITION:
Roofer and Shingler

Job Duties:

Installation of various types of flat roofing systems
Mod Bit, PVC, TPO and EPDM.
Use of hand and power tools
Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
Welding and other tasks related to flat roofing.
Operate and care for construction equipment and machines
Assist laborer when necessary
Prep sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
Load and unload construction materials
Follow instruction from supervisors
Perform site clean up
Install sheet metal flashings
Set up ladders and/or scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs
Ready to learn onthejob training when necessary

Skills, Experience and Education Required:

Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience
1 to 3 years of experience
Physical fitness level that with allow for climbing, bending and lifting heavy weight
Strong work ethic and desire to perform quality work
High degree of safety awareness and commitment to safety
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Be an efficient team member

Wage & Hours:
$26.06

Number of hours per day:
Number of days per week: 5+
Number of hours per week: 40
Overtime starts after how many hours: 44 hours
Shift rotation As needed
