Storage On Us Solutions Ltd. is a new, fast-growing moving company that specializes in the restoration industry which provides solutions for moving contents and items from a location that just experienced a flood, fire, or other type of damages covered under insurance. We are seeking individuals that are physically capable and responsible to move furniture and items out of residential apartment units, homes, and commercial offices into moving trucks and temporary storage, then ultimately after all repairs completed move back into the spaces and positions.

Success in this position weighs on the individual's stamina to perform manual duties, strength, and efficient methods to packing and moving items with the least amount of effort and complications.

Contents Technician - Cleaner/Packer.

Role entails the following:

• Identify which items are able to be restored and which ones are a loss and advising your supervisor to determine the outcome.
• Pack up items to be transported to the processing warehouse, this includes but not limited to kitchen, living rooms and bedrooms.
• When the home or building is restored, return the items, and put furniture back in place from original location or to where the client would like it.
• Be on site in a customer's home to clean, disinfect, and restore contents.
• Work with a motivated team in a safe and clean work environment
• Pack up contents with protection and care to avoid damage, this includes but not limited too using packing paper and bubble wrap.
• Follow procedures for cleaning structures and contents, and handling customers' possessions.
• Provide post construction cleaning to prepare a house for occupancy.
• Take photos of initial site visit of current conditions as well as final photos of how you left the job site once the job was completed and upload it to our system.

Requirements:

• An optimistic outlook and a real desire to help.
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Physically fit (ability to lift, carry and pack boxes) and willingness to follow all company safety requirements.
• Valid driver's licence & clean drivers abstract.
• Experience an asset but not mandatory.

$17.00-$20.00 per hour
