Palladium Medical Clinic is a Family Health Organization including a team of Family Physicians, Nurses, Medical Receptionists and Part-Time Receptionists providing excellent patient care in the Kanata community.

We are located at the Terry Fox and Palladium intersection, adjacent to the 417.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a
PERMANENT
PART-TIME Medical Receptionist to work
16-24 hours per week, sometimes up to 40 hours per week, with most shifts pm and also Saturday mornings, 8:45 am - 12 noon.

We offer secure and regular shifts, but you are required to be
flexible with your hours.


Office hours include:

M, T, W, Th 8 am - 8 pm, F 8 am - 4 pm and Sat 8:45 am-12:00 noon.

$20-22 per hour with a 3 month probation period.
PSS (Telus Practice Solutions) EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greeting and registering patients
• Triaging a large volume of patient phone calls
• Booking appointments
• Cleaning exam rooms
• Handling lab specimens
• Collecting third party payments
• Faxing/scanning documents into the EMR

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Telus Practice Solutions EMR (Telus PSS) EXPERIENCE is MANDATORY
• Excellent computer skills are essential
• Good communication skills
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Enjoy working with the public
• Excellent multitasking skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Able to commute to work easily
• Very reliable, punctual, committed to work specific shifts, and committed to be flexible with your hours

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 16-24 per week


Salary:
$20.00-$22.00 per hour


Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
