We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Director Strategy Development to lead the design, consultation, and execution of strategic projects to deliver solutions to business challenges across the organization, ensuring alignment with OLG's strategic and operational direction.

This also includes identifying and maintaining strategic partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.

YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME
Reporting to the VP, Enterprise Strategy & Change Management, you will:

Be looked to as a thought leader in the organization
Work and consult closely with partners across the organization to identify and solution emerging challenges, operational matters, and strategic initiatives
Know the industry we operate in
Lead development of enterprise-wide strategies to solve complex problems faced by the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) by leveraging strategic frameworks, analytics, customer insights, and sound business logic where needed
Participate in the creation of the 5-year Strategic Plan and become its champion across the organization
Drive cross-functional teams commissioned to drive a wide range of possible strategic initiatives (e.g. commercial agreement structuring and negotiation, large procurements, product rollout strategy, IT system assessment)
Lead sensitive stakeholder contract negotiations that carry a significant intrinsic value of relationship management (e.g. Charitable Gaming, First Nations, Municipalities)
Lead teammates in their day-to-day operations and develop their skills and capabilities through mentoring and coaching in a high performing and engaging work environment
Be a leader on a strong team known for its ability to achieve results

WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAY

Work Experience:_ 10+ years of relevant experience (e.g. business consulting, strategic planning or general management of a business unit or function with strategic level responsibilities within a large corporate environment)
Critical Skills:_ Understanding of OLG; knowledge of gaming industry; strong communication skills including formal presentations; comfortable interacting with senior leaders; logic, professional thinking, and judgment; high degree of comfort in ambiguity; a passion for the Gaming and Entertainment industry; a predisposition for action
Education: _Postsecondary degree/diploma in a relevant field or equivalent education, training and experience
Negotiation and Influence_: ability to negotiate and influence effectively while being open to perspectives and maintaining strong relationships with
Strategic Thinker_: strong strategic and critical thinker with ability to delve into unique challenges and find creative solutions
