    We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse or Advanced Care Paramedic to join our team at Lodges in the Fort McMurray area. This role requires a rotational schedule of 14 days on and 14 days off. We provide meals, accommodations, and a monthly travel allowance. The successful candidate will deliver patient care within their scope of practice under the Medical Officer's guidance, including responding to after-hours emergencies.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide first aid and emergency care within scope of practice.
    • Respond to medical emergencies on-site.
    • Assist in creating treatment plans and consult with the Medical Director.
    • Assess and treat injuries and illnesses in the onsite clinic.
    • Stay updated on relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines.
    • Coordinate COVID-19 management and response when necessary.
    • Support Health & Ability Services team with medical consultations and paperwork when not handling emergencies.
    Qualifications
    • Current RN registration with CARNA or Advanced Care Paramedic license.
    • 2+ years' emergency response experience.
    • BLS and ACLS certification (preferred).
    • Occupational Health Nursing and WCB case management experience (assets).
    • Class 5 Operator's License with a satisfactory driving record.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to make quick decisions in stressful situations.
    • Professional and tactful communication with employees and the public.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Successful completion of pre-access Drug & Alcohol test.
