OPERATIONS COORDNIATOR
- You will ensure legal compliance at Plant
- Bring safety strategy for accident/incident prevention at plants
- Develop emergency response programs for PPG operations
- Have accountability to lead the MOC programs, Incident Investigation, Behavioral Programs
- Guide internal audits for the different cells and customer lines where PPG operates
- Coordinate strategies for sustainable development with the different managements
- Seek opportunities for continuous improvement in the supply chain through raw material packaging, consignment, and vendor managed inventory (VMI) opportunities.
- Support inventory accuracy goals and other key performance indicators through accurate use of inventory affecting transactions.
- Coordinate outgoing orders for raw materials (transfers to R&D, plants and/or returns to suppliers).
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, Local and PPG requirements and policies.
- Drive injury prevention, spill elimination and sustainability in the areas of waste elimination, energy conservation and water consumption; provide leadership and direction for EHS training; and EHS Leadership Team and Ergonomics program for the site.
- Evaluate the EHS Impacts of capital projects and assure EHS risk assessments are completed.
- Provide oversight, audit readiness and mentorship for compliance audits and corrective action management.
- Lead fire prevention and emergency response activities.
- Help develop leading indicators that drive continuous improvement in sustainability metrics (energy, water, waste), spill incidents, injuries and the EHS Management System.
- Communicate updates and issues and plan inventory levels based on customer need.
- Take ownership of the onsite inventory and fully manage its storage and allocation for customer use.
- Properly manage all transactions to account for inventory receiving, labeling, allocation, scrapping and creating pick ticket.
- Proactively interface with procurement for inventory replenishment.
- Align with corporate policies, corporate procedures, health requirements, safety requirements, and environmental requirements at all times.
- Responsible for maintaining professional and ethical actions when dealing with customers and business associates.
- Maintain and schedule and coordinate hazardous waste and scrap from facility
