Purpose of the Position:

Pure Mechanical Group Inc. is seeking a licensed 313A Apprentice (Levels 4 or 5) or Journeyperson to join our Service team in Durham Region. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in safely servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing various HVAC/R equipment.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct Preventative Maintenances with an eye to reduce customer costs and equipment longevity
• Diagnose, Quote and Repair HVAC/R equipment
• Complete work orders and PM reports online
• Ability to occasionally work out of town/travel to sites outside of the Durham Region/GTA
• Must be able to work a rotating evening/weekend on call schedule

Education and Experience Required:

· Post-Secondary diploma in HVAC/R

· 313A Designation / G1 license (or Apprentice)

· Member of UA Local 787

· OBT 1 is optional

· Valid ODP, WHMIS, First Aid, Working from heights, elevated working platforms and MOL (5 steps)

· Class G driver's license with clean abstract

· Clear Criminal Background Check will be required for customer sites

· Experience using digital technology / online work orders and quoting

Skills Required:

· Experience with chilled water systems

· Experience with pneumatic control systems

· Ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.

· Excellent communication, relationship building and problem solving skills

· Must value teamwork and respect. Be punctual
