Landscape Irrigation Technician - Victoria, Canada - Garden City Tree & Landscape

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Landscape Irrigation Technician to join our team.

In this role you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems for both small residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities:

Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems in accordance with project specifications.

• Conduct regular maintenance checks on existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Winterize and startup commercial and residential systems.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their irrigation needs and provide expert advice.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in irrigation technology.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
• Work and assist other company landscaping projects as needed.
• Perform work in company's anti ice and snow removal as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in landscape irrigation installation, repairs, and maintenance.
• IIABC Certification in Irrigation or similar training is an asset.
• Backflow inspection ticket is an asset.
• Knowledge of a variety of irrigation systems and components.
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Available to work a varied schedule in sometimes adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license.

Compensation
$25 to $35 an hour

Salary:
$25.00-$35.00 per hour

Experience:
