What you will do:

  • Servicing customers, offering product knowledge and direct sales service to ensure customers' needs are satisfied; processing returns
  • Ensuring all items purchased are properly entered into the computerized order, allocated and method of payment is efficiently processed
  • Receiving requests and responding to enquiries from customers in person or over the phone
  • Selecting customer pickup orders
  • Keeping the counter and pickup areas clean and organized
  • Processing daily branch paperwork
  • Providing quotations and processing orders on behalf of sales staff
  • Expediting deliveries and handling customer concerns
  • Any other projects or duties as assigned

What you will bring:

  • Fire Protection product knowledge or related experience is required
  • Computer literate. Knowledge of AS400 system an asset.
  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team; capable of managing multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment
  • Forklift certified or ability to be certified would be an asset
  • Able to lift and carry a minimum of fifty [50] lbs repeatedly, bend, twist, stand, walk for long periods
