We're looking for an experienced, motivated and organized home improvement professional that can work directly with customers to successfully complete current projects and open doors to future projects.

Specific Responsibilities/ Requirements

Deliver a consistent & remarkably better customer experience when working in their home
Complete small to medium maintenance/repairs and midsize home improvement projects
Strong 'multiskill' background desired. Must have/own 'day to day' tools of the trade
Communicate with customers about scope of work, cost estimates, manage expectations
Create invoices and collect payment from customers for work performed
Leave customers thrilled with your current work, and open doors to future work

To Succeed in this Role

You'll need to selfmanage as you'll be alone often.
You'll need to speak with customers and provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments.
You'll need to have the necessary tools, including the ability to use technology.

Qualifications
These are the minimum requirements to be considered for this position.

Live within the area
Have 8+ years' experience as a paid handyman
Own your own tools
Be insurable for driving our vehicle
Complete a background and driving record check
Able to lift 50 pounds independently
Able to safely work at heights and work overheard for extended periods of time
Professional appearance and maintenance of companyprovided vehicle

As an experienced Handyman, you have strong proficiency in at least three (3) of the following:

Carpentry work
Bathroom improvements
Kitchen improvements
Painting, both inside and out
Drywall work, minor and major repairs
Floor installation and refurbishing
Familiar with building codes

The pay range for this position is $32.00 to $38.00 per billable hour and is dependent on your experience as a professional handyman as well as your experience with other home repair and maintenance projects such as carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring etc.

Extended Health Benefits are available after a probationary period. As an employee you are paid for statutory holidays, vacation pay and sick days after the probationary period.
