PROFILE
We are currently recruiting of a Finance Manager to join our team.

The manager will be responsible for reviewing, designing and refreshing processes and policies related to the operations of the finance and accounting teams that will improve data integrity and strengthen internal controls nationally.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and map out existing policies and procedures related to the national operations of finance and accounting.
  • Recommend, design and document updated processes, policies and workflows that promote efficiencies and harmonization across the Firm.
  • Ensure financial controls are aligned and operating effectively in compliance with ASPE, CRA, and Law Societies rules and regulations.
  • Prepare and deliver training materials to educate the team and firm on updated changes.
  • Implement and support the rollout of the updated workflows.
  • Prepare financial reports as needed.
  • Participate on projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
  • May require travel to other Canadian offices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree; professional accounting designation (CGA, CPA, CMA, CFA) is preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive and relevant experience in finance roles.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Demonstrates a solutionsoriented approach, challenges status quo, and strives to improve processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other Firm members and provide outstanding client service.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing tasks/priorities in order to meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
