Shunt Driver, Night Shift


We are hoping to find a great shunter to use a Hydraulic 5th truck (Ottawa), to move trailers in our yard in South London.

This is a night shift, with a premium and available overtime.

Brand new Ottawas are arriving in September

Are you looking for a Standardized very predictable schedule?

All of our trucks are automatic.

We require a minimum of 9 months experience on an AZ truck.

  • About the position:_
  • PTO Policy: 10 days of paid time off in your first year (in addition to regular vacation pay).

Great Schedule: 9 pm to 5 am, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

  • No Touch Freight

Hourly Pay: $22.80 per hour, overtime after 40 hours or more than 8 hours in a 24 hour cycle Lots of overtime is available.

Weekly pay with Direct Deposit:

  • RRSP, Stock Options, and a COMPANY PAID PENSION PLAN
  • Ryder Maintenance 24/7 Roadside assistance

Essential Functions

  • Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
  • Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer

Additional Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
