- JBH is a Clinical Education site in conjunction with McMaster University, and designated as an Academic Community Teaching Hospital. Its expanded campus includes the stateofart Michael Lee-Chin & Family Patient Tower, featuring a new Emergency Department, 295 acute inpatient beds, 9 new Operating Rooms and postanaesthetic care unit to support expanded medical, surgical and outpatient services. JBH is also a partner member of the Burlington Ontario Health Team.
- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Transportation of patients, specimens, supplies, equipment, soiled equipment, garbage and linen throughout the hospital.
- Responding to various "codes" as required.
- Specific duties will be based on assignment.
- Must treat all staff, patients and visitors with courtesy, dignity and respect.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of grade twelve (12) or equivalent.
- Ability to push and pull 100lbs.
- Previous experience would be an asset.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal required.
- Demonstrated reliable attendance and punctuality.
