Key Responsibilities:

  • Will be responsible for promoting a professional and cooperative working relationship with the Project Coordinators, Sub-Contractors and Site Supervisors to ensure superior service, quality that the desired project objectives and timelines are met.
  • Will be the Primary Contact for the Contractor on the project. As such, the Project Manager will attend site and project meetings on behalf of Bousada Flooring.
  • Project Manager will select all sub trades for completion of the project and coordinate their activities.
  • Project Manager will ensure that measures are in place to adequately monitor the progression and quality of the subcontract work, and in this regard, the project manager will be sure to undertake regular site meetings with Subcontractors and Site Supervisors, to review, coordinate and administer, their applicable work plans and material requirements.
  • Review and approve Subcontractors submitted Invoices on a timely basis.
  • Will review all the background material (ie. contract drawings, specifications, addendum, Cost Sheets etc.) that has been prepared for the project to become familiar with the Project objectives. The Project Manager will identify and procure any additional information that might be needed prior to execution the project.
  • Will review the estimate that was prepared for the project so that the work can be organized and coordinated in accordance with the contract. The Project Manager will undertake to assess the risks associated with each of the work activities and will aim to identify any assumptions and limitations that may be applicable to the proposed work
  • The Project Manager will report all instances where reported costs grossly exceed construction estimates
  • The Project Manager will be responsible for generating estimates related to Site Changes in the work and/or additional work, as directed from Site. Working with Project Coordinators to obtain site approval, in writing, before execution of said work.
  • Work with the management team to establish, monitor and control project execution and key performance metrics.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of trade unions, their agreements and stipulations

Salary:
$70,629.00-$80,564.00 per year
