Job summary
The Cyber Security Operations Analyst will carry out cyber analysis and incident response activities across the university in cooperation with the internal team and our managed security service providers (MSSP) and other external partners under a hybrid operating model.
The candidate will have technical knowledge of security threats, vulnerabilities, and attacks, and have hands-on experience across multiple cyber security services and technologies to effectively identify, analyze remediate recover from incidents minimize impact to UNSW.
The role is expected to document incident reports playbooks processes plans using established templates frameworks in line with industry best practices.
The role reports to the Manager Cyber Security Incident Response has no direct reports.
