Swimming Pool Service Technician/handyman - Toronto, Canada - APK Pools Inc.

Description

We are looking for a reliable and driven individual who wants to learn and grow within our company.

We are seeking a new service technician to help with the installation and repair of swimming pool and whirlpool mechanics at our customer locations (primarily condominiums and hotels).

You will train directly under our senior technician for a certain period of time, depending on your experience. Once ready, you will dispatched for daily calls and assist in any ongoing service projects. Daily tasks will range widely. Potential for significant earnings and responsibility as the technician's experience grows.


Responsibilities and Duties
The technician will be dispatched to various calls across the city to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

While this will be the main focus of the role, there will be a wide range of tasks and responsibilities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid G License
• Prior knowledge of pool/spa systems is an asset
• Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Must be a good problem solver
• Previous trade experience in electrical, mechanical or plumbing is a huge asset
• CPO designation is an asset
• Personal vehicle is an asset
• Background check is required
