- Answer the phone, schedule and confirm medical appointments, greet patients
- Receive and communicate messages
- Help patients complete health history forms
- Operate office equipment. This includes voice mail messaging systems, photocopiers, fax machines, and document scanners
- Keep examination areas clean, orderly, and stocked with supplies
- Take patients in and out of examining rooms, clean the room between the patient
Responsibilities / Clinical duties include, but not limited to the following:
- Update and maintain patients' health records
- Assist patients with initial paperwork
- Schedule and coordinate appointments
- Use EMR software to support all transactions
- Answer patients' queries and ensure quality customer service
- Collaborate with doctors and nurses to help with medical examinations, schedule tests
- Ensure compliance with procedure
Work experience:
- Preferably of one to threeyear working experience in a medical clinic
Education and skills:
- Completion of an MOA or equivalent certification would be an asset
- Good customer service
- Excellent telephone and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and successfully carry out duties while at a busy reception desk
- A professional and friendly personality
- Experience of using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) will be an advantage
- Good Computer skills
