New Generation Concrete Ltd. is an established concrete company operating out of Surrey, BC. We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team. The position will focus on supporting the Project Manager in new commercial and residential construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Organize & track material purchases & deliveries to construction sites
- Prepare cost estimates for construction projects
- Track onhand inventory for project use
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion
- Create, organize & maintain project planning and paperwork
- Technical writing
- Assist Project Manager in tracking deficiencies and project completion cleanup duties
- Assist with field work coordination
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Excellent organizational skills
- 2 years sales, purchasing, or coordination experience in the construction sector
- Read and understand construction drawings
- Post-Secondary Education, preferably in Business Management
- Able to work independently
- Fluent in English
- Speaking Spanish is an asset
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
Benefits:
Extended Health and Dental Insurance provided after 3 months of employment
Pay:
$55,000.00-$77,000.00 per year
