Project Coordinator

New Generation Concrete Ltd. - Surrey, BC

New Generation Concrete Ltd. is an established concrete company operating out of Surrey, BC. We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team. The position will focus on supporting the Project Manager in new commercial and residential construction projects.


Responsibilities:


  • Organize & track material purchases & deliveries to construction sites
  • Prepare cost estimates for construction projects
  • Track onhand inventory for project use
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion
  • Create, organize & maintain project planning and paperwork
  • Technical writing
  • Assist Project Manager in tracking deficiencies and project completion cleanup duties
  • Assist with field work coordination

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • 2 years sales, purchasing, or coordination experience in the construction sector
  • Read and understand construction drawings
  • Post-Secondary Education, preferably in Business Management
  • Able to work independently
  • Fluent in English
  • Speaking Spanish is an asset
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral

Benefits:
Extended Health and Dental Insurance provided after 3 months of employment


Pay:
$55,000.00-$77,000.00 per year
