Who are we looking for:

We are looking for a creative, self-driven and committed Learning & Development(L+D) Specialist join our L+D team in Toronto.

You are excited by the opportunity to design and implement engaging learning programs using Adult Learning Principles; in-depth knowledge of learning trends and a wide range of delivery methodologies along with effective project management skills with a focus on managing multiple priorities and delivering on-time results.


What you will do:


  • Support the L+D Manager in the development and implementation of organization wide L+D strategy, framework, policies, and processes.
  • Support instructors within our internal Academy in developing and revising courses using Adult Learning Principles.
  • Train instructors on adult learning principles and strategies.
  • Develop, lead, and evaluate studiowide learning programs.
  • Create and plan L+D onboarding for new employees.
  • Identify challenges and recommend program improvements to continuously evolve program effectiveness and quality of student learning experience.
  • Analyze L+D metrics for learning programs and initiatives.
  • Develop surveys/forms, data dashboards, and reports.
  • Align internal learning programs with professional accreditation requirements.
  • Maintain the L+D information management framework.

What you will bring:


  • Degree/Certificate in Adult Education or Instructional Design or related.
  • 35 years of experience leading L+D programs with project management skills.
  • Experience with Learning Management System (LMS), elearning programs, Microsoft Suite.
  • Experience in designing and implementing effective learning using Adult Learning Principles incorporating a wide range of training methods, techniques and formats.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across the studio.
