We're looking for a Financial Analyst to take on the role of Financial Manager for various Germain Hotels entities. Working in collaboration with several of our teams, this meticulous and versatile individual will oversee cash management, budgets and the preparation of various financial information essential to the smooth running and development of the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
● Be responsible for the preparation of forecast, monthly and annual financial statements for various entities, for managing the establishments' cash flow and for preparing annual audit files.
● Prepare and communicate operating budgets as well as various analyses and reconciliations.
● Ensure compliance with accounting procedures/processes and internal control.
● Participate in tax provision calculations and the preparation of tax information for annual returns.
● Collaborate on various special projects.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
● Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or other related training
● 2 to 5 years' relevant experience
● CPA designation an asset (may be in process)
● Experience in an accounting or tax firm, an asset
● Excellent command of Excel
● Knowledge of the hotel and restaurant industry, an asset
●Communication skills in French and English, both oral and written due to the nature of the tasks, or interactions with English-speaking colleagues, partners or customers, anywhere in Canada.
