- Support Business Aircraft Operations teams in their daily functions by understanding and resolving aircraft avionic and electrical issues.
- Resolve problems and answer technical questions through NCR (Non-Conformity Report) raised by Quality Agents.
- Suggest corrective actions to engineering/FTP (Functional Test Procedure) document changes, in line with achieving excellence objectives.
- Ensure adherence to MRB (Material Review Board), quality, and engineering procedures.
- Work in close cooperation with other engineering disciplines such as Hydro-mechanical Systems, Thermodynamics, Stress, Power-Plant, ECS, etc.
- Work in close cooperation with other disciplines such as quality, logistics, methods, etc.
- Work in a high-paced environment with evolving priorities.
- You hold an Electrical engineering bachelor's degree and at least 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- You possess a strong understanding of all facets of avionics and electrical system definition, integration, and certification; and have a strong understanding of aircraft systems and interfaces (Primary & Secondary Avionics, Maintenance Data Computers, Aircraft Health Management Computers, EWIS, Electrical Power Generation & Distribution, Hydraulic Power).
- You possess a strong understanding of fundamental aerospace knowledge domains such as EMIC, notably electrical bonding & shielding aspects, digital and analogue interfaces & signal aspects, basic aircraft aerodynamics, basic control systems, and interior cabin systems.
- You are familiar with FAR25 regulations, OEM certification & supplier design documentation, including the qualification rules pertaining to avionics and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of supplementary type certification (STC) principles is a definite asset.
- A strong understanding of EWIS requirements, specifically harness routing standards, cable assembly manufacturing requirements, and be familiar in navigating related documentation such as wiring diagrams, cable assembly parts lists.
- You have previous MRB (Material Review Board) experience.
- You have working experience using Teamcenter, SAP, and MS Office.
- You must be bilingual (English and French), both written and spoken.
- You must be able to work with minimum supervision, be a team player, and maintain a "can-do" mindset.
- You must also demonstrate initiative, a pro-active approach to problem-solving, a natural sense of commitment, abilities required for structured planning, and priority execution, while maintaining sound technical judgment.
