Main functions:

  • Lead largerscale strategic projects
  • Facilitate Lean workshops (process or value chain mapping, kaizen, etc.)
  • Conduct training on the Lean method
  • Guide management teams or project teams (coaching)
  • Act as a technical expert on problemsolving methods
  • Identify process improvements aimed at Bimbo Canada's health/safety, quality/food safety, sustainability and productivity
  • Promote the automation of performance tools (GB Connected) and Bimbo Canada's established CI program (CIMa)

Skills required for your success:

Required:

  • University degree, ideally in a technical field or administration
  • Leadership position experience, preferably in manufacturing or distribution
  • A track record of success
  • Sense of responsibility; Autonomy over the management of your schedule and priorities in exchange for a commitment to the company's values
  • Love challenges; Solve daytoday problems with work teams
  • Influential leadership; Carry out projects and deploy the continuous improvement model without direct authority over the people affected
  • Excellence in communication; Work with both the frontline collaborators and the Bimbo Canada management team.
  • Feel comfortable in multiple roles; Coach, trainer, facilitator, team member, influencer
  • Autonomy and sense of priorities; Manage multiple initiatives at the same time, make appropriate choices, navigate grey areas in terms of responsibilities, time management.
  • Willingness to learn; different management methods, problem solving, internal processes, etc. Be looking for continuous personal and professional growth
  • Creativity; Ability to imagine different scenarios when solving complex problems, identify hidden opportunities, create a project from scratch and deliver it.
  • Analytical mind; guide decisionmaking based on facts, statistical or trend analyses, etc.
  • Excellent teammate; each member of the CI team contributes to the progression of the model and methods through the sharing of experiences, group collaboration, etc.

Assets:

  • Master of Business Administration, Master of Science or Engineering degree considered assets
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification obtained from another company or the American Society for Quality
  • Experience in change management or coaching experience and certification considered assets
