Retired Principal, Toronto Engineering College
Job Summary:
The retired principal for Toronto Engineering College will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and expertise to the college in matters related to academic, administrative, and strategic affairs.
The individual will work closely with the college management team to ensure that the college's mission and objectives are met, and that the college continues to provide high-quality education to its students.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the college management team in matters related to academic affairs, student services, and college administration
Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement academic programs that meet the needs of the students and align with the college's mission and objectives
Ensure that the college's academic programs are of the highest quality and are delivered in a manner consistent with the college's policies and procedures
Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures that govern the operation of the college
Serve as a liaison between the college and external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and other educational institutions
Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusiveness, and excellence among faculty, staff, and students
Develop and maintain relationships with alumni and donors to support the college's fundraising efforts
Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for faculty and staff
Manage the college's budget and resources effectively to ensure that they are aligned with the college's strategic priorities and objectives
Qualifications:
A retired principal with experience in academic leadership and administration, preferably in an engineering or technical field
A graduate degree in a relevant field is preferred
Excellent leadership, management, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
A strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
Experience in fundraising and resource management is an asset.
Working Conditions:
The retired principal for Toronto Engineering College will work primarily on the college campus. The individual may be required to attend meetings and events off-campus from time to time.
This is a full-time position, and the individual may be required to work outside of regular business hours on occasion.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The college offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings plan, and paid vacation and sick leave.
Salary:
From $50,000.00 per year
