Ambrose University invites applications for the Dean of Theology position, commencing August 1, 2024.

The Dean is responsible for providing administrative leadership to the Faculty of Theology by envisioning, articulating, and enabling the programs, advancing student success, overseeing personnel, and managing resources that support the ongoing work of the Faculty.

The Faculty encompasses the Seminary including the Theological Studies in Chinese programs and the School of Ministry. The Dean reports to the Provost, Vice President of Academic Affairs. The position is a full-time management position that carries faculty rank but not tenure status. Personal adherence to the Christian faith is a bona fide occupational requirement. Deans are normally expected to teach at least two course each academic year.
