- 10+ years of professional (post-college) experience in data science, computer science, or a related field; preferably with a Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling.
- Understanding of cloud-native services, including AWS-managed offerings (e.g., AWS ML Specialty Certificate).
- Strong knowledge of machine learning models and systems.
- Proficiency in the Python programming language for data analysis and modeling.
- Strong experience with data manipulation, visualization, and analysis tools (e.g., pandas, matplotlib, seaborn).
- Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in real-world applications.
- Knowledge and experience with generative AI and prompt engineering.
- Familiarity with modern data processing and storage paradigms.
- Strong communication skills and highly effective collaboration abilities.
- Ability to translate complex analytical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex business challenges.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Proficiency in data processing, analysis, and visualization using SQL, Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, or other relevant tools.

Additionally, the team collaborates with the Data Foundation team to integrate and support the end-to-end lifecycle of data needed for training and inference. Our team is seeking a principal data scientist who is a broad-minded problem solver to play a critical, leading role in leveraging data-driven insights to inform business strategies, drive innovation, and deliver actionable recommendations.
