About the role:


We are seeking an Operations Associate who will be responsible for wholesale operations to successfully ensure that all product transactions are completed timely and accurately.

This includes customer relations, receiving, inventory management, picking, packing and shipping activities.

Critical to this role is a strong attention to detail due to the high value of the product being shipped and received and to ensure patient safety.

This position is also responsible for administration and the upkeep of the facility.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Maintain and foster positive customer relations with vendors for products, transportation, maintenance, and supplies
  • Conduct receiving duties, inventory management, and administration in accordance with approved procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Pick, package and ship in accordance with approved procedures, packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practices including cold chain and ambient packaging
  • Appropriately use various systems to manage inventory and other daily activities
  • Implement, evaluate and test technologies and processes as introduced to operation and business
  • Operate mechanical equipment in loading and unloading material and equipment as needed.

Job Specifications & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor of science preferred and at least 2 (two) years of previous working experience preferably in a Pharmaceutical/GMP facility
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs on a continuous basis
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong focus on customer service
  • Able to work with mínimal supervision
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Knowledge or experience with Inventory Management Systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, etc.) would be an asset
  • Excellent problemsolving and critical thinking skills, and good independent judgment are required
