    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

    The Gift and Pledge Processor is responsible for processing, recording, and depositing all monies generated through donations, fund-raising campaigns, Alumni events, and sponsorships.

    SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

    1.Process and accurately record donations in Raiser's Edge including cash, cheques, credit card transactions, eCommerce, and payroll deduction. 2.Identify and record trust accounts to be credited for gift processed including managing the incoming donation tickets through TDX. 3.Process interfaces from the payroll system and student information system into Raiser's Edge. 4.Reconcile donations interface from Campus Call to Raiser's Edge. 5.Complete corporate matching gift forms and forwards to the appropriate matching gift company. 6.Maintains the records for donations, managing the hard copy and electronic files, and scanning and attaching within the system where appropriate. 7.Input, generate and mail letters and pledge cards pertaining to information gathered from various annual and special fund-raising campaigns. 8.Records and updates donor pledges / other information within the Raiser's Edge system. 9.Assist the Accounting and Taxation Manager by generating data from the Raiser's Edge system for requests pertaining to the Alumni and Donor financial information. 10.Support annual audits by preparing documents as required. 11.Prepare deposits of cash and cheques and reconcile all payments and charges against source documents and batches for review by the Senior Accountant. 12.Generates invoices for general receivables and their subsequent collection. 13.All other duties as assigned.

    ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    The successful candidate will have:
    •Significant experience with a computerized fund-raising and/or accounting system
    •Familiar with Canada Revenue Agency gift receipting legislation
    •Basic understanding of banking procedures
    •Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


    •Post-secondary degree or college diploma, ideally in a related field

    THE FOLLOWING TESTS WILL BE ADMINISTERED:

    MS Word (Basic Level), MS Excel (Basic Level); Typing (40 NWPM)
